This is the Watermelon Shot I promised to make and share—easy, delicious, and as I mentioned before, I made it based on Watermelon Moonshine.

Yesterday, I shared my Watermelon Moonshine recipe and said that I made it just to create other cocktails and shots, like this Watermelon Shot. So, I used it as one of the main ingredients, along with lime juice, simple syrup, and, of course, some cubes of watermelon.

This is one of the fastest shot drinks I’ve made, and just so you know, it’s been a long time since I last made a shot recipe. I still remember that some take more effort and some don’t, but most of the time, shot recipes are easy, fun, and can be ready in just a few minutes, like this Watermelon Shot.

So if you love fruity shots and enjoy the taste of watermelon, you absolutely need to make this Watermelon Shot at home.

How to Store Leftovers?

If you have any leftover Watermelon Shot mix, put it in a container with a lid and keep it in the fridge. Drink it in 2-3 days, but it tastes best when it’s fresh.

What to Eat with Watermelon Shots?

You can pair your watermelon shot with many different meals, but I always prefer to enjoy my shots with desserts. I loved the taste of this shot with Chicken Salad Chick Cookies—the sweet, buttery cookies with that irresistible frosting on top perfectly balance the refreshing watermelon flavor. You could also serve it with a slice of Persimmon Banana Bread for more fruity flavors, Other great options include chocolate brownies, lemon poppy seed muffins, or even spicy jalapeño poppers for some spiciness.
