  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil leaves, chopped

How to Make Ina Garten Sausage and Peppers?

First, In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sausages and cook them for about 7-10 minutes. After that Remove the sausages from the skillet and set aside.

Step 2:

In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and onions. Cook for about 5 minutes. Add the chopped garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. and Cook for another 2 minutes.

Step 3:

Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 1 minute. Add the Marsala wine (or chicken broth if you want) to deglaze the pan, Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.

Step 4:

Stir in the diced tomatoes with their juice. Return the sausages to the skillet, nestling them into the vegetable mixture. Reduce the heat to low and let the dish simmer for about 20 minutes.

Step 5:

Just before serving, stir in the fresh basil and parsley. Add some salt and pepper if needed and Enjoy.
