I can’t say I have a favorite because all these recipes are close to my heart, and I always make one to go with my main course. Now, I have a new one to add to the list, These Rustic Potatoes turned so cozy with the herbs I used and super easy to make. Like the others, they’re quick to prepare and delicious of course.

The Rustic Potatoes are so versatile too, everyone can add their favorite herbs. I used a mix of rosemary, thyme, paprika, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Sometimes, I also add Tuscan Seasoning to bring in delicious Italian flavors that make the dish even more enjoyable. You can customize the herbs and seasonings as you like, but trust me, the ones I used turned these Rustic Potatoes into a perfect and tasty dish.

Rustic Potatoes are a delightful meal made from simple ingredients based on potatoes that be a great side dish next to your main course. This recipe typically uses Russet potatoes that become crispy on the outside while staying tender and cozy inside, Also has a mix of herbs and spices used, such as garlic, paprika, rosemary, and thyme, but you can customize it, so the recipe is easy, versatile and even can be enjoyed as a delicious snack with a sauce of your choice.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes (Russet works best)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary and thyme (mix of both)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (Optional)

How to Make Rustic Potatoes?

In a big bowl, mix olive oil with garlic powder, paprika, a mix of both rosemary and thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir everything very well, then toss the potato pieces in the mix until they are all coated with the seasoning, You can also add Tuscan Seasoning if you want more flavors.

Step 3:

Place the seasoned potatoes on a baking sheet. Spread them out so they are not touching each other too much. This way, they will get crispy all over.

Step 4:

Put the baking sheet in the oven. Bake the potatoes for about 25-30 minutes. Use a spatula to flip them so they cook evenly.
