Potatoes recipes have always been a staple in my house, I love to make recipes based on them, and Today I’m excited to share a Potato Turbate recipe that takes this humble ingredient to a new level of deliciousness. Ingredients

  • 6 large potatoes
  • 2 cups of grated cheese
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper

How to Make Potato Turbate?

Step 1:

Wash the potatoes first. Then, slice the potatoes into thin pieces.

Put the heavy cream, milk, and butter in a saucepan. Place the saucepan on the stove and turn on the heat to medium. Watch as the butter melts into the cream and milk. Stir gently with a spoon. Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the mixture and stir again.

Step 4:

Get a baking dish and grease it with a little butter. Lay some potato slices on the bottom of the dish, covering the entire bottom. Pour a little bit of the cream sauce over the potatoes. Sprinkle some grated cheese on top of the sauce. Repeat these steps—potatoes, cream sauce, cheese—until you use all the ingredients. Make sure the last layer on top is cheese!

Step 5:

Now cover the baking dish with aluminum foil. Carefully put the dish in the oven. Let it bake for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, remove the foil. Let it bake for another 15 minutes until the top is golden. and Enjoy your delicious Potato Turbate!

If you have any leftover Potato Turbate (which doesn’t happen if you have kids), you can keep it in a closed container in the fridge for up to 48 hours. When you want to eat it again, Warm it up.
