This is a special Publix Breakfast Bread copycat recipe, a bread full of different flavors (dried fruits and diced nuts). The taste is unique and so delicious, perfect to enjoy in the morning or as toast with your favorite jam.

This isn’t my first copycat recipe inspired by Publix. I made their Sugar Cookies before, and it was delicious and fun to make. I love Publix desserts, they’re light and tasty.

They used so many ingredients to make this bread, and I found that normal since the bread is so delicious. It makes sense that a lot of effort and ingredients are needed to create it.

I just used simple ingredients for making the bread, and for the filling, I chose a mix of raisins and cranberries with walnuts and pecans. I didn’t use too much, so make sure to make the bread as you want, just like I did.

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, or a mix)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, or a mix)
  • 1/4 cup honey

How to Make Publix Breakfast Bread?

Step 1:

First, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan. In a big bowl, mix flour, white sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.

Step 2:

In another bowl, stir milk, eggs, and vanilla very well. Then add this to the big bowl with the dry stuff, mixing just until it’s all combined.

Step 3:

Cut cold butter into small pieces and mix it into the batter with your fingers until it looks crumbly like sand.

Step 4:

Mix the dried fruits and nuts until they’re spread out in the batter. Pour the batter into the greased pan.

Step 5:

Put the pan in the oven. Bake for 50-60 minutes. After That take it out and Enjoy.
