Yesterday, I was scrolling across Reddit to get some new recipe ideas, and I saw someone mention Dijonnaise, a mix of Dijon and mayo. I was interested, but at the same time, I felt a bit silly since I love making sauces, how had this combination never crossed my mind?

I found that this Dijonnaise is so easy to make and doesn’t require much effort, so it was perfect for me.

I made this Dijonnaise with a mix of Dijon and mayo, and I preferred to use homemade mayo. I also added lemon juice to give the sauce a zesty flavor.

I loved the taste, Even though I always use Dijon and mayo to make other sauces, mixing just these two ingredients created an unexpected flavor, tangy, and creamy, with a little spiciness, which I really liked.

Since this Dijonnaise turned out so well, I thought next time I’d try replacing the mayo with tartar sauce or even swap the Dijon with BBQ sauce or something similar to create a new version.
