This is another tropical drink I made. The Shipwreck Drink has a beautiful flavor with a nice fizz. It’s easy to make at home and a great option to add to your list of tropical homemade drinks.

My husband adores these kinds of drinks, especially the fruity ones with a tropical touch. This drink reminds me of the Caribou Lou drink, but I made the Shipwreck Drink fizzy by adding lemon-lime soda. It’s not a necessary ingredient, but I love the flavor it adds to the drink.

The Shipwreck Drink ends up with a nice light yellow color because of the pineapple juice.

You can also customize some ingredients as you like, such as the simple syrup, some people add it, and some don’t, so it’s totally optional.

You can also decorate your drink however you want and enjoy it. I’m sure you’ll love the taste, especially if you enjoy tropical fruity drinks like I do.

  • Add more lemon-lime soda if you want a fizzy version, Also if you don’t want it just ignore it as it will not change the drink’s flavor.

How to Store Leftovers?

While it’s best to enjoy the Shipwreck Drink fresh, you can store any leftovers in a tightly sealed container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Note that the soda may lose its fizz, so it’s better to drink it soon after making it. If you anticipate leftovers, consider adding the soda just before serving.

What to Eat with Shipwreck Drink?

I enjoyed this Shipwreck Drink just like I did with my last tropical drink, pairing it with some slices of tropical banana bread. It’s also amazing with desserts like Strawberry Caramel Cake, coconut macaroons, key lime pie, and even a refreshing fruit salad. The drink has a nice tropical flavor that pairs so well with any sweet dessert, you can also serve it at a gathering with friends or family with some cookies, I’m sure the drink will not disappoint you.
