This Chocolate Chip Banana Bread is a simple recipe inspired by Rachael Ray, This banana bread recipe is made with classic flavors of ripe bananas and chocolate chips, to have a flavorful banana bread that’s loved by many. I love Rachael Ray’s recipes as they are simple and always turn fantastic. But To add my own touch, I’ve included crunchy almonds in the batter and sprinkled more with chocolate chips on top. This adds a more crunchy and sweet taste to the banana bread, But this is optional, you can ignore it if you want and make it classic without Nuts, just banana and Chocolate chips

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • Additional chopped almonds and chocolate chips for topping

How to Make Rachael Ray’s Chocolate Chip Banana Bread?

Set the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.

Mash ripe bananas in a bowl until they are smooth. and Stir melted butter into the bananas. Add baking soda and salt. Mix in sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
