Both sauces are based on mayonnaise, but in the Long John Silver’s version, I didn’t use Dijon mustard or chopped onion. Instead, I used dried dill weed, onion powder, and garlic powder. This changes the flavor, giving each sauce its unique taste.

I made this Long John Silver’s Tartar Sauce based on the ingredients listed on their sauce packets. I adjusted the recipe by omitting some ingredients and adding others to make it easier to prepare and more delicious. I hope you enjoy it.
