Usually, the normal chipotle sauces are made of adobo sauce, spices, cilantro, lime juice, sour cream, and mayonnaise of course, I only add fresh raspberries and honey, and brown sugar as an addition to make the Raspberry Chipotle Sauce, the taste was amazing and worth the effort.

What Raspberry Chipotle Sauce?
Raspberry chipotle sauce is a delicious mix of fresh raspberries and spicy chipotle peppers, combining the sweetness of raspberries with the smoky heat of chipotle peppers. This sauce contains fresh raspberries, or frozen if you don’t have the fresh ones, chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, honey, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper, unlike regular chipotle sauce, which focuses only on the spicy flavors of chipotle peppers.
Ingrédients
To create this delectable raspberry chipotle sauce, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh raspberries (or frozen if out of season)
- 2-3 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
- 1/2 tasse de vinaigre de cidre de pomme
- 1/2 tasse de sucre brun
- 1/4 de tasse de miel
- 1 petit oignon, finement haché
- 2 gousses d'ail émincées
- 1/2 cuillère à café de sel
- 1/4 de cuillère à café de poivre noir

- Wooden spoon or silicone spatula

How to Make Raspberry Chipotle Sauce?
Étape 1 :
Rinse the raspberries with cold water and let them dry Chop the Veggies, chop the onion into tiny pieces, and mince the garlic.
Étape 2 :
Put a little bit of oil in a medium pan and heat it up on the stove.
Étape 3 :
Add the chopped onion and garlic to the pan. Stir and cook until they look clear and smell yummy (this takes about 3-5 minutes).
Étape 4 :
Add the raspberries, chipotle peppers, and some adobo sauce into the pan. Stir everything together.
Étape 5 :
Pour in the apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and honey. Stir to mix well.
Étape 6 :
Let the mixture cook on low heat for about 20-25 minutes. Stir sometimes.
Étape 7 :
Take the pan off the heat and let it cool a little.

Carefully pour the mixture into a blender and blend until smooth. If you like it a bit chunky, blend for a shorter time.
Étape 9 :
Pour the blended sauce through a fine mesh strainer back into the pan. Use a spoon to press out the smooth sauce, leaving seeds behind.

Put the smooth sauce back on the stove and simmer for another 10 minutes.
Step 11:
Allow the sauce to cool down to room temperature and Pour the sauce into a clean jar, Keep it in the fridge for up to two weeks. Enjoy

- If you don’t like your sauce too spicy, use fewer chipotle peppers. And of course, You can always add more later if you want it spicier.
- Fresh raspberries and garlic will make your sauce taste better. If you can’t find fresh raspberries, frozen ones will work too!
- Let the sauce cool a bit before blending to avoid hot splashes.
- If you don’t have a fine mesh strainer, you can use a regular strainer but the sauce may be a bit chunkier.
Comment conserver les restes ?
After you’re done using the sauce, put the extra sauce in a tightly closed container in the fridge. It will stay fresh there for about two weeks. If you want to keep it longer, you can freeze it. Just pour the sauce into an ice cube tray, freeze it, and then put the frozen cubes in a bag in the freezer. This way, you can take out only as much as you need later on!

You can enjoy raspberry chipotle sauce in many ways, I love to brush it on grilled chicken, salmon, or pork as a flavorful marinade.
