  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 Earl Grey tea bags

How to Make Earl Grey Cheesecake?

Step 1:

Heat the heavy cream in a small pot until it starts to steam. Take it off the heat and add the Earl Grey tea bags. Let them sit for 10 minutes, then take out the tea bags and let the cream cool.

Step 2:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix crushed graham crackers, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Press the mix into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool.

Step 3:

In a big bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add 1 cup of sugar and mix well. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Add sour cream, flour, and vanilla extract. Finally, add the cooled tea-infused cream and mix everything very well.

Step 4:

Pour the filling over the cooled crust in the springform pan. Place the pan on a baking sheet and bake for 55-60 minutes, Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door slightly open for an hour.

Step 5:

Once the cheesecake is at room temperature, put it in the fridge for at least 4 hours, Take the cheesecake out of the springform pan and place it on a serving plate. Slice and enjoy.

  • Use a bag and a rolling pin to crush the crackers.
  • Make sure the tea bags sit in the hot cream for at least 10 minutes to get lots of flavor.

  • Don’t forget to Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours so it sets well.

Put leftover cheesecake in a container with a lid and keep it in the fridge for up to 5 days. If you want to save it for longer, you can freeze it. Wrap each slice in plastic wrap and then put them in a bag that can go in the freezer.
