First of all, let me tell you how I got the recipe. It’s quite simple. I have a friend who lives in Florida and he’s also a big fan of Hooters. He frequents Hooters Daytona Beach often. So, I asked him to get their special sauce for me. He asked a manager at the restaurant who gave him an idea of the ingredients used. Once he shared the ingredients with me and based on the taste of the Hooters Daytona Beach wings, I knew exactly how to recreate this sauce.

So I used mayonnaise, ketchup, Tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, horseradish sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. The taste of this Hooters Daytona Beach Sauce is sweet, smoky, and slightly spicy. You can control the spiciness by adding more or less Tabasco sauce.
