Pain de banane à la mélasse
I made this Molasses Banana Bread as the final banana bread recipe I’ll share this summer. It’s a dark brown, sweet, and definitely tasty dessert to enjoy.
This Molasses Banana Bread is a bit different from the previous ones. In my last recipes, I added other fruits alongside bananas to make my banana breads, but this time I used molasses to make it sweeter and darker. I really love the dark brown color, it almost looks like chocolate bread.
The taste is delicious for sure, and it’s an interesting twist on your regular banana bread. The ingredients and directions are almost the same, making it simple for any baking level. I think you’ll have fun making this Molasses Banana Bread.
I was thinking of adding a fruit alongside molasses as a key ingredient, but I decided not to. I’ve already shared plenty of fruit versions of banana bread, like Pain aux bananes de Maui et Pain aux bananes et au kaki.
My upcoming banana bread recipes will feature other ingredients without fruits. However, if you’d like me to include your favorite fruits, just let me know in the comment section below.
