I usually use this Tuscan seasoning to make many dishes, especially soups and bread, as it adds an herbal and earthy taste. Not only soups and bread, but I also love using this seasoning in slow cooker dishes, for me this Seasoning is a must-have in my cupboard kitchen.

I made this Tuscan seasoning with dried rosemary, thyme, oregano, basil, marjoram, garlic powder, onion powder, sage, black pepper, and optionally, crushed red pepper flakes. Sometimes I add crushed red pepper flakes to make it spicy because I love spicy food, and my husband does too. However, adding the red pepper flakes is optional, you can also leave them out or add other herbs you like.

  • 2 tablespoons dried rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons dried thyme
  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon dried marjoram
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

How to Make Tuscan Seasoning?

In a medium bowl, mix all the dried herbs and spices together. Stir well to make sure everything is mixed evenly.

Put the mixed herbs and spices into a container with a lid. Write “Tuscan Seasoning” and today’s date on the container.
