They turned out amazing. I loved how they taste, they’re like banana bread but in cookie form. Crunchy and soft with a nice banana flavor.

I used ripe mashed bananas and banana pudding mix to make these Banana Cream Cookies. The other ingredients are simple and traditional, just like any other cookie. The process is easy, and the results are truly satisfying.

I had never made a cookie based on fruit before, so making these Banana Cream Cookies was really interesting for me. I chose this recipe because I knew my family would love it and enjoy the taste. What are Banana Cream Cookies?

Banana Cream Cookies are great treats made with bananas and a special pudding mix, The cookies are full of banana flavors And can be made easily at home. They’re like banana bread but in a cookie shape, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, made with flour, butter, sugar, and ripe bananas. These cookies are a great idea because they taste amazing, and are full of sweet banana flavor. If you love bananas, these cookies are for sure a nice option to try.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • ½ cup banana pudding mix (dry)

How to Make Banana Cream Cookies?

Step 1:

Turn on the oven to 350°F (175°C) and put a baking sheet on the tray.

Step 2:

In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Put it aside.

Step 3:

In a big bowl, mix the soft butter and sugar until it’s fluffy, Then Add the egg and vanilla to the mix and stir well.

Step 4:

Mash the banana and mix it with the banana pudding powder until smooth. Add a few drops of yellow color if you want the cookies to be brighter, (This is optional).

Step 5:

Now, slowly mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until they are they are just blended. But, Don’t mix too much.

Step 6:

Scoop the dough into balls and place them on the baking sheet. Press each ball gently to make circles.

Step 7:

Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes. Let the cookies cool until they get crunchier. Enjoy.

  • Make sure the butter is soft before you start, so it mixes smoothly and easily with the sugar.
  • Mash the banana really well with your fork.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before moving them, so they don’t break.
  • You can add just a few drops of yellow food color to the dough to make your cookies brighter, but I usually don’t use it.

How to Store Leftovers?

Just, put your cookies in a box that closes tightly. and leave it on the counter, they’ll stay good for 4 days. Just make sure to close the box after taking a cookie out.
