Start by filling a large pot with water and bring it to a rolling boil over high heat. Once the water is boiling, add the frozen corn. Allow the corn to cook for about 5-7 minutes, If you prefer using fresh corn, shuck the corn cobs and remove any silks. Place the cobs in the boiling water and cook for about 10 minutes. After boiling, remove the cobs from the water.

While the corn is cooking, place a saucepan over medium heat. Add the butter to the saucepan and let it melt completely.
