Previously, I shared the <a href=\"https:\/\/manthatlooksgood.com\/old-overholt-cocktail\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1604\">Old Overholt Cocktail<\/a>, which highlights Old Overholt Rye Whiskey. My husband particularly enjoys this type of cocktail, so I crafted this Japanese Old Fashioned especially for him. I wanted to create a fresh and unique twist on the classic recipe to surprise and delight him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can make your syrup easily by dissolving sugar and water, and for the Japanese Japanese Old Fashioned as from the name is the Japanese version of the classic Old Fashioned drink. It&#8217;s made with Japanese whiskey instead of bourbon or rye whiskey. Japanese whiskey is known for its smooth and delicate flavors. To make it, you mix Japanese whiskey with a little sugar and a few dashes of bitters.
