I’ve made iced tea for myself and my family before, but I’ve never shared a recipe on the blog until today. I have something special for you to try – Iced Raspberry Leaf Tea. It has a refreshing raspberry flavor that sets it apart from classic teas.

The taste of this Iced Raspberry Leaf Tea is sweet with a hint of zestiness, and I really enjoy it. It’s different from my regular iced tea. If you love raspberry flavors, you should definitely give this Iced Raspberry Leaf Tea a try.

I used dried raspberry leaves as the base ingredient, and added sweetness with honey, although it’s optional. If you prefer your tea unsweetened, you can skip it of course. I also included lemon juice to add a tangy zest, which is also optional. This makes the recipe versatile and very customizable.

<img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="698" height="1024" made from leaves that grow on raspberry plants. These leaves are dried and then steeped in hot water to make this tea. What makes it different from regular iced tea is its sweet and slightly tangy raspberry flavor. Iced Raspberry Leaf Tea is made from dried raspberry leaves and water. Sometimes people also add honey or lemon juice to make it sweeter or tangier, but that part is optional.

Why do I choose to Make Raspberry Leaf Tea?

It’s a different fruity version, Raspberry leaf tea is special because it comes from the leaves of the raspberry plant, which is a fruit like the ones we eat. Place the pot on the stove and bring the water to a rolling boil. This usually takes about 5-7 minutes.

Once the water reaches a boil, remove the pot from the heat source. add 4 tablespoons of dried raspberry leaves to the hot water.

Cover the pot with a lid to keep the heat in and allow the raspberry leaves to steep for about 15-20 minutes. If you prefer a stronger flavor, you can extend the steeping time.

After the steeping time has elapsed, use a fine mesh strainer to pour the tea into a pitcher, capturing the leaves and ensuring only the liquid passes through. Discard the used leaves.

If you like your tea on the sweeter side, now is the time to add your chosen sweetener. While the tea is still warm, stir in 2 tablespoons of honey.

Let the tea sit at room temperature until it has cooled down. This might take about 30 minutes. Once cooled, you can add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice if you desire a hint of citrus flavor.

To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes.
